The Park opened on 1st September 2003 and the area is going from strength to strength. With Britain's only Coastal and Marine National Park being planned to the West of the Cairngorms National Park, the beautiful coastal beaches of Moray to the North, the new world class golf course being planned by Donald Trump to the North East, and the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park to the South West, The Cairngorms National Park is set to be at the heart of one of the world's premier areas to visit.
